Being an SSI Assistant Instructor enables you to inspire and influence others to grow in their diving experiences and increase your personal knowledge, skills and experience by teaching Open Water (class and pool training) and Specialty courses.
This program provides the skills, concepts and teaching experience required to become a successful SSI Instructor.

In addition to the programs taught by active status Professional Dive Guides, active Assistant Instructors may teach, supervise and issue certifications for the following programs:
The goal of our course is to prepare you for a successful career with Scuba Professionals of Arizona. The Dive Professional Courses are modular which means you complete blocks one after the other, which creates and builds the confidence needed to create a real dive professional. When you finish this program you can choose to remain an Assistant Instructor, or upgrade your status to an Open Water Instructor or many other pathways.Prerequisites:
